Commissioner, Lorraine Badley and Dr. Gaysha Beard worked tirelessly to improve education within the community, creating initiatives and programs to enhance learning, expand access, and empower students, making a lasting impact on the future of our community. Dr Beard, supervises Delaware Middletown school district, overseeing education quality, teacher development, and student success. She fosters innovation, equity, and community engagement, ensuring a nurturing environment for students to thrive, building better communities. 

Commissioner Badley dedicated her efforts to the enhancement of the diaspora communities and underserved communities in Jamaica through education, promoting cultural preservation, academic excellence, and empowerment, fostering a brighter future for youth of our communities. 

Both Commissioner Badley and Dr Beard donated books to the Jamaica Ex-servicemen and Women Foundation inc. and the Jamaica Diaspora NE community youth outreach program. The donated books were given to schools and learning institutions in underserved communities in Jamaica, providing vital resources and promoting literacy. 

Students from the schools that received donated books have expressed heartfelt thanks, grateful for the gift of knowledge and opportunity, their smiles and words of appreciation reflect the impact of the generosity on their educational journey. The teachers and

executives have expressed sincere gratitude for the donation of the books. They Thank the donors, acknowledging the valuable resources and support for their educational journey.
